The client purchased an existing building consisting a commercial unit with 2 derelict apartments above. The brief was to build a new steel structure extension to the rear and top floor of the existing building to provide 3 new apartments and a complete refurbishment of the existing 2 residential units.
Internally all rooms were plaster boarded with a tape and joint finish. All communal areas received either a drop suspended ceiling or MF and board finish.
